BJP's Rita Bahuguna Joshi says since 2007, UP has been giving clear mandates. And that people now look for good governance and the leadership. "There are a few takeaways from electoral process in UP from 2007. The people are giving very clear mandates now. There is no confusion. 2007, 2012, 2017, 2019, 2022 they always have been giving clear mandates. Patterns have changed. Earlier it was caste, from 2014, when Narendra Modi came onto the scene, the narrative changed. Now people are voting for good governance and since 2017 the double engine government has delivered very well," she said.
