PM Modi Launches Jobs Campaign For Uttar Pradesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a new employment scheme targeted at 31 Uttar Pradesh districts to promote local entrepreneurship and job opportunities in partnership with industrial associations. These are districts where over 25,000 migrant workers and their families have returned amid the coronavirus pandemic and the extended lockdown. Uttar Pradesh , like neighboring Bihar, faces a big challenge. Over 30 lakh migrants have returned and will need sustainable employment in the next few months.
