The Maharashtra government crisis is deepening as rebel Shiv Sena MLAs led by Eknath Shinde inch closer to the majority mark. If the Mr Shinde faction claims it has the support of more than 37 MLAs, it can ask the Speaker to recognize them as the Shiv Sena faction or the main party in the assembly.
