President polls: Mamata dares UPA to sack her, wants Kalam
Mamata Banerjee and the Congress appear to be dangerously close to breaking-up over the election for president of India. Ms Banerjee this evening said she will not bring down the government and she does not want early elections, but warned "the high-handedness of the Congress" must end. She has also said that she will not attend tomorrow's meeting of the UPA, the coalition that she belongs to.
