Rain Cripples Mumbai: Civic Body BMC's Tall Claims Busted?
It has been a spectacular collapse of Mumbai, even by the city's own standards as it was hit with rain nine times more than the normal rainfall in the last nine hours. Even now, Mumbai is struggling, people have been advised to stay indoors as waterlogging cripples the city. Was this just way too much rain for any city to cope with? Or have the the civic body BMC's tall claims been busted?
