Rajiv Gandhi assassination case: Justice vs mercy
Balasaraswathi has been mourning her husband's death for the past 20 years. Rajaguru, a police inspector, was blown up while on duty when former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated. Now with voices to commute the death sentence of the three convicts in the case getting louder, Balasaraswathi says this will mean denying justice to families of fifteen victims, including nine policemen.
