Reservation for Muslims: Is it a good idea?
The government will soon take a decision on fixing a quota for Muslims within the 27 per cent quota fixed for Other Backward Classes. This decision has far reaching implications for India, especially as the Constitution does not allow reservations based on religion. Considering reservations have always been a very sensitive issue, what is the fallout likely to be if religion is added to the mix.
