Row Over Ambedkar Portraits In Tamil Nadu Courts

Sections of lawyers in Tamil Nadu are demanding installation of portraits of Ambedkar in all courts across the state. This after portraits of Ambedkar were removed from  lower courts  after a circular by the Madras High Court that said only portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and revered poet Thiruvallur  are allowed. The Tamil Nadu government wants these portraits remain. The Chief Justice of the Madras High Court too the state law minister says has agreed for status quo saying there was never an order to remove portraits of Ambedkar..NDTV's Sam Daniel spoke to a few lawyers on both sides of the issue.
