Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, on the third day of the Budget session where the INDIA bloc opposition MPs staged a protest inside the Parliament, called the budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman "a woefully missed opportunity".
"This budget makes it abundantly clear that the BJP has run out of ideas. Their priorities chiefly revolve around appeasing their two allies, forgetting there are 26 other states and 8 Union territories whose people have nothing to be happy about," Mr Tharoor said in the Lok Sabha today.
