Situation Of Dalits: An Ugly Reality
Caste bias against Dalits is still an ugly reality in large parts of India. In Tamil Nadu, the powerful castes often stop Dalits from drawing water at the same hand pump or worshipping in the same temple as them. But what's worse is that Dalits are not even allowed to use the same public toilets in some areas. And it's the women who are most affected by this discrimination.
