The Long Bumpy Road To Tawang
When the Dalai Lama visited Tawang last week, he did so by road, travelling 500 km from Guwahati up and down the mountains. The roads were mostly so bad, chief minister Pema Khandu, who travelled with the Tibetan monk, publicly apologized for them. Also desperately requiring improvement is power supply. Both are crucial for infrastructure, especially in a border state like Arunachal.
