Hour after hour, day after day, the media has been squarely focused on the IPL fiasco. The buzzwords for days have been spot-fixing and betting. Quite often, the two terms have been used synonymously, despite the fact that the nature of the crime couldn't be more different. Betting is perhaps the worst-kept secret in India.
