As diplomatic ties between India and Canada have been hit over gangsters and terrorists taking shelter in Canada, the father of killed Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala said that he welcomes the Indian government for downgrading ties with Canada, if it serves to nab the gangsters who were involved in killing his son. But he also supported Trudeau for standing up for Canadian citizen and Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. "Trudeau stood by a Canadian citizen. But no government has stood for justice for my son as his killers are still calling the shots from behind the bars," said Balkaur Singh, father of Singer Sidhu Moosewala who was killed last year in Punjab's Mansa district.
