In today's episode of India Global, U.S. president Donald Trump's latest tariff announcement has dropped a bombshell that's rocking the financial world. Trump's bold new tariffs slammed markets today, sending the dollar tumbling and U.S. stocks into a tailspin. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Bangkok to attend the 6th BIMSTEC Summit, where India and Thailand signed MoUs in the presence of PM Modi and his Thai counterpart. During his visit, PM Modi is also scheduled to meet King Maha Vajiralongkorn. Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar has delivered a sharp rebuttal to Bangladesh's Chief Adviser Yunus, days after the latter described India's Northeast as "landlocked" and positioned Bangladesh as the "guardian of ocean access" for the region.
