Universities for minorities: Is the UPA appeasing Muslims ahead of elections?
With less than a year to go for the general elections, the Centre has decided to set up five central universities, which will have 50 per cent seats reserved for minorities. Is this appeasement politics or is there a genuine need for these institutions? We debate.
