25 years ago, the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya was destroyed by thousands of karsevaks, leaving the temple town trapped in the mandir masjid conflict even as the rest of India moved on. Ayodhya's religous leaders claim it has no future till the Ram Mandir is built.
