30 memorable years have taken Nitin Gokhale across the length and breadth of the country and beyond. His assignments have varied from China's Sky Train to Lhasa to Elections in Assam and the troops in LoC. He describes joining NDTV as being his biggest challenge. He started out back in 1983 as a skinny 50 kg youngster going on to become one of the stalwarts of television journalism in India. He admits to being at his best outdoors away from the confines of studios.
