Coal allocation system transparent; production to rise by 7-8% in 2012: Coal Minister
The CBI is investigating the entire coal allocation issue; they are asking questions to the coal ministry regarding the documents related to the coal allocation. In an interview to NDTV's Sreenivasan Jain, Coal Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal said that the coal allocation system has been transparent. As far as the outlook on coal production growth in 2012 is concerned, he said that they are expecting production to rise by 7-8 per cent in 2012.
