Diesel needs to be deregulated: Montek
In an exclusive interview with NDTV, Planning Commission's deputy chairperson Montek Singh Ahluwalia, says as soon as it is felt to be politically appropriate, the government will take the relevant steps on deregulating diesel prices. He says India’s ability to grow at 9 per cent depends crucially on being able to pass on high energy prices.
