Fuel price hike to push up inflation: Kaushik Basu
Finance ministry's chief economic advisor Kaushik Basu, says the decontrol on petrol and diesel would lead to 0.9 per cent rise in inflation in the short-term. Dr Basu noted that prices will rise and fall in line with the international prices.
