Multiple sclerosis affects the central nervous system, unexpectedly and repeatedly, and causes devastating disabilities. The effect of multiple sclerosis on patients and their families is not understood and hence not acknowledged. Worst, this disabling disease is not recognized by the Disability Act of 1995. Though we know how multiple sclerosis happens, we still don't know why.
