Karnataka is famous for housing India's Silicon Valley Bengaluru, but with 56 per cent of the state population's livelihood dependent on agriculture, the state is focusing on the largest loan waiver programme for farmers, creating resilience among farmers towards climate change, employment creation and using the state's information technology and artificial intelligence systems to transform the rural landscape.
