Petrol price hike done only as last resort, says IOC Chairman
A petrol price hike of Rs 6, which effected about a week ago, has triggered strong reaction across the country. In a discussion with NDTV's Sreenivasan Jain, RS Butola, Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation, said that the hike was done only as a last resort. "We have realised that it's a very heavy impact on the consumer and if we have options, we would like to exercise them," he said.
