In January 2002, at the height of tensions between India and Pakistan, Pakistan's President General Pervez Musharraf and India's Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee travelled to Kathmandu for a summit of the South Asian countries. General Musharraf impromptu walked over to PM Vajpayee and the two leaders shook hands. NDTV travelled from Kathmandu to the border between India and Pakistan to see if the bilateral chill had thawed.
