Routes to Roots: The Story of Indians Across the Seven Seas

This is an epic 10 part film series on the Indian diaspora in collaboration with the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs and the Public Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India. Travelling all over the world, the Indian diaspora is a force to reckon with. Separated from India by distance and in some cases, time, nevertheless there is a strong connection, cultural and emotional, to the country they left behind. Routes to Roots is a film that explores this connection and the journeys made by Indians as they come back to India, seeking connections to their villages, their families, their roots.
