Infamously labelled the "drug kingpin of Punjab" by the Congress party, Punjab minister Bikramjit Singh Majithia says "I'll quit politics and ask for capital punishment if proven guilty by a court." Since several allegations have surfaced of Majithia being a pivot to narcotic drugs in Punjab, he has become the central target of attacks by the opposition parties especially Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party against the BJP-Akali Dal combine in the state.
