Guwahati Takes Steps To Avert Road Accidents
NDTV-Diageo Road To Safety initiative reached Guwahati to spread awareness about the importance of following road rules. Hiren Ch. Nath, Guwahati police commissioner, joined the awareness event that took place on Wednesday and spoke about the steps which the city's traffic officials are taking up to prevent road accidents. During the event, more than 1000 people in the city also signed up for the #NeverDrinkAndDrive pledge.
