Winner of Smart E-Governance Initiative Award: Employees Provident Fund Organisation
Employees Provident Fund Organisation won the award for its initiative called UAN (Universal Account Number) programme to provide one PF number to all its EPF members, which would be applicable across their various employments. The introduction of UAN has ensured that the member can carry single account number (UAN) throughout his employment period.
