Indian cricket administration is at a turning point because today the like never before, the world's richest cricket board, the BCCI is under scrutiny, and that too by the Supreme Court. And along the way the board is resisting every serious attempt at change and transparency. So today, BCCI president Anurag Thakur virtually threatened to call off the current India-New Zealand Test and One Day series because he said the Supreme Court-appointed Lodha Panel has frozen the board's accounts. So they don't have money for matches. Justice Lodha, however, says that's not true and the BCCI is free to spend money on the games.
