Freezing of BCCI Accounts Unfortunate: Anurag Thakur
BCCI president Anurag Thakur has hit out at the Lodha committee for freezing its accounts. Thakur said the BCCI didn't take government grants and it was upon the state units to decide if they wished to host international and domestic matches without getting funds from the Board. Thakur feels the Lodha panel's interference on BCCI affairs was uncalled for. The Lodha panel was constituted by the Supreme Court to bring changes in the way the BCCI functioned.
