Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar said Mahendra Singh Dhoni's decision to bat first against Australia in Brisbane has set the tone for India. Gavaskar said he was impressed with Dhoni's show of intent to bat first on one of the liveliest pitches in the world and hailed the Indian batsmen for backing up their captain's decision to bat with some stellar performances. Gavaskar, who was a former opener himself said Murali Vijay fully deserved his hundred after batting superbly against a competent Australian pace attack on Wednesday.
