No Athlete Has Ever Reacted Like Sarita Devi Did in Asian Games: IOA Boss
In an exclusive interview with NDTV, Indian Olympic Association boss N Ramachandran said that boxer Sarita Devi's drastic reaction in Incheon was unprecedented. Sarita had refused her bronze medal in Incheon following a controversial bout that was awarded in favour of her South Korean opponent Jina Park. Ramachandran also felt that IOA had followed the right procedure in addressing the case. He said that Sarita had apologised for her act and the issue would soon be solved.
