Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar feels it is not a good idea to reduce the number of teams in the 2019 World Cup. The International Cricket Council has proposed that the number of teams be shortlisted to 10 from the original 14. Tendulkar says that in every edition the Associate teams have sprung up surprises and the tournament should be expanded to 25 teams. He adds that is only possible if they are allowed to participate in the mega-event on a regular basis.
