Speaking exclusively to NDTV, former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar heaped praise on batsmen Shikhar Dhawan (190) and Cheteshwar Pujara (153) who scored brilliant centuries in the first innings against Sri Lanka at Galle. Talking about how Dhawan and Pujara exploited the Sri Lanka bowlers and pitch, the former India captain said, "Dhawan capitalised on the flat pitch which helped him to get to 190 and Pujara continued his rich form." At the end of Day 3, India have a lead of 498 runs after they decided against enforcing the follow-on.
