WFI Back-Tracking on Promise to Hold Olympics Trial: Sushil Kumar
Sushil Kumar, India's only sportsperson to win two individual Olympics medals, said the the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) had earlier promised to hold a trial in 74 kg category for qualification in the 2016 Rio Games, but now it was back-tracking. Narsingh Yadav had won Olympics quota (74kg) for the country and the WFI seems intent in sending him to Rio rather then Sushil. The former world champion has also moved court to get a trial.
