Prime Minister Narendra Modi today set on fire an effigy of Ravana at a Dussehra celebration in Delhi's Dwarka. "Jai Shri Ram," an announcer said as PM Modi stood on a stage. He also shot the symbolic arrow at Ravana. Minutes later, the effigies of Ravan were set on fire, symbolising the win of good over evil. This was the second time PM Modi celebrated Dussehra in Dwarka. The last time was in 2019, before the pandemic. The Dussehra celebration was organised by the Dwarka Shri Ram Leela Society at a Delhi Development Authority (DDA) ground.
