Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation through his monthly 'Mann Ki Baat' radio programme. This is the 29th episode of his broadcast, which comes a day ahead of the crucial fifth phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly election. The centre had to seek clearance from the Election Commission to air the broadcast as the model code of conduct is in force in the poll-bound states of Uttar Pradesh and Manipur, which will vote next month. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken about various issues ranging from drug addiction, exam stress, yoga to economy, corruption and farmers' issues in these monthly addresses. Mr Modi often invites suggestions and comments from citizens - which he also incorporates in his radio address.
