PM Modi Hits Out At Congress Over Tree Felling In Hyderabad
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hit out at the Telangana Congress government over clearing a large tree cover on a land parcel next to the University of Hyderabad. The Prime Minister said that environment is under threat in the state of Telangana, adding that the ruling Congress is destroying forests systematically in the state. Countering the charge, the Congress said 92,000 trees have been razed in Chhattisgarh.
