PM Modi Meets Grand Mufti Of Egypt Shawki Ibrahim Abdel-Karim Allam In Cairo
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the Grand Mufti of Egypt Shawki Ibrahim Abdel-Karim Allam on June 22. Shawki Ibrahim Abdel-Karim Allam is the 19th Grand Mufti of Egypt. PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Egypt starting from June 24. He was welcomed by the Egyptian PM Mostafa Madbouly himself at airport. PM Modi also inspected a guard of honour upon his arrival. Indian diaspora overwhelmingly welcomed PM Modi at the hotel. He is scheduled to visit the 11th century Al-Hakim Mosque during his visit. PM Modi will visit Heliopolis War Grave cemetery to pay tribute to Indian soldiers who lost their lives during World War I.
