PM Modi In Sonia Gandhi's Turf Raebareli, Visits Coach Factory | Read
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Raebareli, his first trip to the stronghold of the Gandhi family. Sonia Gandhi has been representing Raebareli in Lok Sabha for nearly 20 years. Congress chief Rahul Gandhi represents Amethi, the parliamentary constituency 60 km away. PM Modi will be inaugurating several projects and address a public meeting. The visit comes days after the BJP lost the three heartland states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to the Congress and its allies. Its attempts to expand its footprint in Telangana and wrest Mizoram from the Congress also did not come through.
