Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez inaugurated the Tata Aircraft Complex in Vadodara, Gujarat, marking a major milestone in India’s defense manufacturing sector. This facility, a collaboration between Tata and Airbus, will build C-295 military transport aircraft, with 40 of the 56 planes being assembled locally. The project, originally envisioned by the late Ratan Tata, supports the "Make in India, Make for the World" mission and strengthens India-Spain ties. The C-295 is set to replace India’s aging Avro fleet, enhancing the country's tactical air transport capabilities.
