Singer, politician and now a minister in PM Modi's government, Babul Supriyo listed out his priorities on a day he took charge as Minister of State for Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation. He told NDTV that he would first try to understand why his department couldn't deliver certain things and then would try to narrow the gap between what is said and what is done. He also said that this may be a new chapter in his life and that he is a quick learner.
