PM Modi's France Visit: India Looking For More Rafales
Will India acquire more Rafale fighters from France - that's a key question ahead of the visit of the Prime Minister to France this week. It now seems increasingly clear that after the Indian Air Force, the Indian Navy will be next in line to acquire the top fighter jet - for operations onboard its brand-new aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant. The deal to acquire the jet for the IAF was mired in controversy with allegations of corruption that were ultimately dismissed by the Supreme Court. 4 Rafales will now fly at France's Bastille Day parade on Friday which will attended by the Prime Minister.
