PM Modi's Marathon Meditation Stokes Controversy
Prime Minister Modi would be on a three day visit to Kanniyakumari to meditate at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. He would start at around 5 this evening and would conclude it on Saturday. This is the place where Swami Vivekananda is believed to have meditated at in 1892. The visit though personal has turned controversial as this would continue on the no campaign day tomorrow as well as the polling day on Saturday. The CPM in Tamil Nadu has asked the Election Commission to ban the media from telecasting the event. It argues this will become a propaganda material for the BJP.
