On Day 2 of its National Executive meet, BJP sharpened its attack on the opposition saying, it does not have "neta, neeti and rann neeti (leader, ideology or strategy). In a resolution adopted at the meet, the BJP vowed to build a "New India" by 2022, said Union Minister Prakash Javadekar on Sunday, adding that the Narendra Modi government's next tenure is "guaranteed". When asked about the spike in petrol and diesel prices, Mr Javadekar avoided the question and said the rate of inflation during UPA's tenure was 10 per cent while now it is less than five per cent. While enlisting the work done by the BJP's state units, the minister accused the opposition of doing negative politics as they are "frustrated" and their only agenda is "stop Modi".
