PM Modi Spotlights India's 850 Million Internet At G20 Digital Economy Ministers Meet
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, while addressing the G20 Digital economy ministers meeting, said that, in India, there are 50 million internet users enjoying some of the cheapest data costs in the world. "Today India has over 850 million internet users enjoying some of the cheapest data costs in the world. We have leveraged technology to transform governance to make it more efficient, inclusive, faster and transparent," he said.
