Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Japanese Counterpart Yoshihide Suga for successfully hosting Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics amid pandemic, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said on Friday, giving details of the bilateral talks between the two leaders held in Washington DC. "PM Narendra Modi specifically thanked PM Yoshihide Suga for successfully hosting Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics in midst of global pandemic. Two Prime Ministers exchanged views on recent developments including Afghanistan," said Foreign Secretary. "PM Narendra Modi and PM Suga reaffirmed their commitment towards a free and open inclusive Indo-Pacific region.
