It's a war of words between the Prime Minister and Rahul Gandhi in Maharashtra ahead of the state elections. The PM accused the opposition particularly those who have aligned with Congress, of betraying Maharashtra's pride by partnering with parties that have historically insulted figures like Veer Savarkar and disrespected Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi, slammed the BJP and RSS, saying that they are trying to divide India along lines of caste, religion, and language. He also attacked PM Modi over Constitution remarks, saying that the PM has "never read it".
