From Wuhan to Mamallapuram, it has been quite a journey for India and China over the last year. When Prime Minister Modi and President Xi Jinping met for their first informal summit in Wuhan in 2018, both countries struck the right tone, setting the stage for a good meeting. This year it has been quite different, with sharp words exchanged over Kashmir and Beijing hosting Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan on the eve of Xi's visit to India. The question we ask on The Big Fight is - can India and China find a middle ground in which to manage the relationship or does New Delhi need to be more realistic about dealing with China?
