PM, Sonia Gandhi to inaugurate first rail link to the Kashmir valley today

Kashmir's dream of an all-weather surface link will turn into a reality today after Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi inaugurate a rail link between Banihal and Qazigund in the Valley. Dr Singh and Mrs Gandhi will jointly flag-off the first train at around 11.50 am on the 18-km-long section.
